“Heavenly food, relaxing atmosphere and superb staff, We will be back”

A group of us tried Psaorchori Tavern on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is on the Agios Georgios road about 2 km from Coral Bay and Peyia and is more than worth the trip. Outside is a huge terrace seating 80 – 100 people overlooking their own swimming pool. It is set out in such a way that the tables are not intrusive of each other, and during the day you can use the massive swimming pool free of charge. The welcome from the friendly staff made us to feel like we were friends returning after some time away.
Psaorchori is a fish tavern but also has a selection of grilled meats and vegetarian dishes to suit everyone. From the menu you can choose your items, or just go to the fish cabinet and choose the exact fish you want and how you want it cooked. We opted for a fish meze, which is a selection of local dishes, (dips, breads, salad etc) along with what seamed to be an endless supply of different fish. At €18 per head this is amazing value, but be warned, this is not a meal for anyone who is not hungry, or is in a rush. One of the party had grilled lamb chops and were still talking about it the following day.
To sum up our experience, this is a restaurant well worth a visit, serving amazing food and great value for money. Without doubt we will be returning, and recommending to everyone we meet, to try it out.
